Nicely written. I am a sufferer of their carelesness. I have applied four times for withdrawal of my PF . I was working in a private sector near Kolkata. I left that company in 1998. Till now I have not received any reply from the PF office.

I cannot apply for my PF bcos i’m not having my PF no.The company is not giving me the details of my PF account.How can i go about it.

I leave a private company year 2006, applied for pf, reply from pf office that no balance till date in your account. i asked personaly to my office accountant, he show me the deposits bank form, what will i do ? pf office staff told be wait for march2007. please advise me.

I have been working in private company in Mumbai regional office having head office at Kolkata. I have left ny job in 1997. Thereafter I have sent them several letters in last ten years. I do get some vague reply, but not my provident funds money. Will somebody help me in this matter or method of appplying for RTI (RIGHT TO INFORMATION).

My provident fund account number is WB/28543/B/402 and I claimed by the form no 19 and form no 10-C with all suporting papers on 22.01.2008 which had Established by Anapol Professional Service.But till now i have not able to my P/F into my bank account.
I requesting you to check my account and let me know the current status by mail.

Please do the needful as soon as possible.

This is to inform you that I claimed to P/F kolkata branch for my total P/F amount of Rs.4500.00 and others bonus amount but I received only Rs 1100.00 through my bank account on 24.01.2008.
kindly confarm me about my P/F status by mail.

Thank you for posting your comment on my blog. Unfortunately I am not in a position to solve this issues since I do not belong to PF department. I have written this open letter to explain everyone how inefficient the PF department is and how they make life hell for everyone.

I just hope that someone from that department reads this post and tries to improve their image and work culture.

How do i know the accumulated PF amount

Wow! So many complains. And some funny complains keep coming in my email box.

BTW, I am in no way related to this department and I just wanted to expose their laid back attitude. It seems that the Provident Fund department has a really poor Public Relations system, and a worse Internet presence!

My gut feeling says that they do not comply to the RTI Act.

Sometime I feel - why they make a law, when they are unable to make people obey the same. It just takes away the trust in the legal framework of the country.

My wife had submitted her Claim form for REFUND of her past accummulation along with other relevant papers to PF Office in Salt Lake Kolkata and was issued an official receipt dt 29/1/08.

Till date ( 9th July 2008) her account has not been settled and no refund cheque has been issued to her till date.

Even the behaviour of the PF office staff in Kolkata is dubious.

In the eara of globalisation how they work is something unbelieveable.

Will any NGO come forward and take up the matter or can somebody suggest any email id of any minister in the Central government which could be of help ?

I guess this department has no impact of any blogs/comments/ by any individual or community. They are simply not bothered

My Name is Ravi Kumar Das and my pf No. is WB/34749/1619. I have received my pf slip for the year ended 2005-06 only. After that I have not recieved any intemation from Pf office yet. I just want to know about my cumulative amount till date as pf amount is deducting from my salary every month. I had submitted my PF withdrawal form almost 7 months back, at that time i was working for BEAS consultancy in KOLKATA. i am waiting from long time for my PF amount. So please provide my amount as early as possible.
